Product Review: Lenovo G570

The new era of technology has landed in our lifestyle. Below I review a competitive product namely Lenovo G570.This mega company(Lenovo) has been going head  to head with the latest laptop gadgets. Firstly I will start with an abstract about the history of the company operating in the computer industry especially laptops. Who is Lenovo as a company?, what are they doing as computer manufacturers and how are they making things possible for laptop users?. The reason why I review this products is because it is competitive to its close competitors and its often too difficult to choose the right laptop because it has a similar stylish specs that often contradicts potential buyers. Then I will compare the features of their latest Laptops.

Company History

Here is how Lenovo has started,from the beginning if not the end,they explicitly explain everything now pay attention. Lenovo(n.d) was formed by Lenovo Group’s acquisition of the former IBM Personal Computing Division, Lenovo builds on its dominant position in China to grow globally. Lenovo came about as the result of the amalgamation of two of the most storied companies in technology and business: Legend Holdings in China and IBM’s Personal Computing Division in the United States.

This portable computer includes a black darkened case covering. The keyboard deck features  grey bright  colour that  has spaces in between.A shallow style keyboard that encircle across the deck with a touch located near the left hand side which allows swish scrolling like soft cushion pad. The curve of the lower case looks like a wood structure and the screen has sharp angular corners  that makes Lenovo   competitive and distinctive.


The Lenovo G570 is powered by a 2.3-GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor with 4GB RAM memory and a capacity of a 500GB external memory with a speed of 5400-rpm(Revolutions per minute) hard drive that offer swift movement capabilities. This feature is responsible for the speed that the Lenovo uses to complete tasks in flash and enable a user to store more files till he/she say I’m exhausted. Applications can be launched even during multi-tasking situations, the newer version of Windows 8 supports various functions in this Laptop.


Lenovo has a one year warranty and low battery life because it uses so much power to give maximum performance. With a 15.6 inch monitor,it  provide an outstanding view that exert force to its battery life.

This laptop has Wi-Fi model Atheros AR9285 Wireless that can accept and transmit Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n of Wi-Fi connection. A Bluetooth capability includes a 2.1 +EDR that allows maximum Bluetooth connection within the closest range.

Size and Weight

The size of this portable gadget stands at 14.8 x 9.8 x 0.68 and it weighs up to 5.2 pounds which is equal to 2.35868 Kilograms. This makes it transportable and less heavier than its closest competitors.
